Program Services Coordinator Job

HCR ManorCare provides a range of services, including skilled nursing care, assisted living, post-acute medical and rehabilitation care, hospice care, home health care and rehabilitation therapy.

Oversee the day-to-day activities and personel within your service area. This position requires tact, sensitivity and professionalism due to constant interaction with residents and families to guarantee their satisfaction.
*Follow all policies and procedures established in the Risk Management nd Infection Controls Manuals to maintain a safe environment.
*Coordinate and deliver program services, including family programs, spiritual programs, and community outreach/volunteer programs.
*Recruit, select, supervise, and develop program services staff.
*Purchase programming supplies and equipment, and account for and track expenses.

Demonstrated knowledge and experience with residents having dementia and appropriate theraueutic/behavioral interventions.
Must successfully complete the required Alzheimer's training.

EDUCATION:
BS or BA in Therauptic Recreation or related field with NCTRC certificaiton preferred.
